Intermittent catheterisation with Actreen®
Intermittent catheterisation is the act of passing a thin hollow tube called a catheter into the bladder in order to drain urine, and removing it immediately afterwards when drainage has ceased. This procedure may be performed several times per day in accordance with advice given by a health care professional. Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC) empowers a person with emptying problems to gain control of when they empty their bladder, and is seen as the ‘gold standard’ in urinary catheterisation.
Actreen catheters offer discretion, ease of use and comfort; the completely ready to use solution for ISC.
