Uro-Tainer^® Polihexanide (0.02%)

Uro-Tainer PHMB (Polihexanide) provides a mechanical flush, together with bacterial decolonisation for suprapubic and indwelling urethral catheters.

PHMB (known chemically as Polihexanide) is active against gram - and gram + bacteria, fungi and yeast including MRSA, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, VRE etc.

PHMB has been in use for over 60 years and is used widely in cosmetics, contact lens solution, swimming pools and wounds.
