Skin protects our bodies from injury and water loss; as we age, skin loses its elasticity and can become more fragile, permeability can increase and this can lead to transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and risk of injury can be higher due to reduced elasticity.
Linovera Oil
Traditional emollient formulations contain occlusive ingredients such as paraffin oils which form a layer on top of the skin to prevent moisture loss.
Linovera is different, containing hyperoxygenated fatty acids (HOFA) from sunflower oil (high in linoleic acid, which are also found naturally in the skin), aloe vera, centella and rosemary. The combination of ingredients helps rebuild the skin structure and repair lipid loss, restoring the skins natural barrier function.
Indicated for use in intact skin and/or the peri wound intact skin to maintain skin integrity.
