From April 1 st 2022, he will be responsible for the Aesculap division in the Management Board and at the same time takes over as Chair of the Management Board at Aesculap AG. In both positions, Dr von Lackum succeeds Dr Joachim Schulz, who is retiring.
Dr von Lackum (45) studied law in Heidelberg and Münster, subsequently graduating with a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the California Western School of Law in San Diego. From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a lawyer in Düsseldorf and London. Dr von Lackum began his career at Aesculap AG in Tuttlingen in 2008 as director of the Legal department. This was followed by positions as director of the Legal and Human Resources departments, and as board member for Marketing, Sales and Human Resources at Aesculap AG. Since 2018, Dr von Lackum has been deputy chair of the Management Board at Aesculap AG.
