Aminoplasmal® 10% and 15% Solution for infusion

Amino Acids for Parenteral Nutrition

Proteins are the building blocks of life.

Providing one of the essential macronutrients required by the body, proteins contribute to muscle and tissue formation.

When a patient has compromised amino acid levels, the inadequate supply can result in muscle mass reduction and atrophy leading to weakness, loss of motor function and cachexia. As such, amino acid supply holds a pivotal role in the maintenance or recovery of muscle mass for malnourished patients on parenteral nutrition1.

Aminoplasmal® provides the supply of amino acids for parenteral nutrition when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible, insufficient, or contraindicated. For adults, adolescents and children over

2 years of age.
